Lark do you not think if the btc runs out soon and becomes unavailable(eg,blackrock buys them all) that btc will in effect act like an altcoin and go exponential?

This cycle may be different Lark because of Bitcoin ETF. It will raise the sky limit for Bitcoin. Who will buy bitcoin? Institutions, Central banks and Big Investors. Who will buy alts? Retail and wanna-get-rich-quick guys. Choose wisely. We will see Bitcoin Dominance reaching epic levels in this cycle.
Remember money flows into bitcoin etf WONT' FLOW INTO ALTS
You may be preaching to the choir. Most people, I'd say the vast majority, invested in this space don't hold JUST bitcoin. They hold other crypto, or at least, that's what it should be. In terms of percentage, let's say around 30% should be in bitcoin and the rest in a variety of L1s and a smattering of L2s. Let's, for the sake of argument say, a total of 10-15 different coins including bitcoin. I think that should do it. All of it does of course depend on how much you've put in as capital.

I disagree Bitcoin is on a rip if you have the money it's the best return guaranteed . What if there is no bitcoin left on the exchange's the next bare market because of the ETFs and other institutional sovereign wealth funds corporations it's just a thought
