Another point you did not mention: The gov is spending more than they are taking in and need more tax money and there are millions of illegal aliens (non-immigrants) in this country who do not pay any taxes as they only work for cash "under the table." What will they do?! I doubt very much they will want to have a "unique digital #." This digital gov system would also be able to track where a person is by their purchases, just like the use of a credit card, but in real time. Men won't be able to cheat on their wives as easily if they can't use cash. I think it might be hard to implement this, but I expect they will just do it even if >50% of the country protests. Just because communist China does it, does not mean America has to follow them—or is that the plan of the Biden administration? America is losing all their freedoms, bit by bit rapidly in the past two years.
