Given how much scams thier have been, and the subsequent stories, my default is all crypto is a scam. Logically, I know that's not correct, but as I don't know enough about crypto avoiding it completely is the best option.
Also, I would think, given the volume of negative press, if you are at the point where you are handing over cash for crypto and NFT's, you'd have some idea or awareness of what's been going on in the industry? You don't pop out the womb and start buying crypto ffs.
