When players like Blackrock scoop up all the bitcoin and make it their playground, there will be a few nuts like me hanging onto theirs. I don't plan to buy the Blackrock ETF because they will use it to rehypothecate bitcoin and thus dilute the supply. I do hold Canadian spot BTC ETF (the Galaxy one) in my IRA, but have been waiting to get out at even. Each time we get close to my target some fud storm sets me back to square one. I have sold some at a loss but trying to hold onto the rest. I don't even think Fidelity's crypto accounts prevent rehypothecation. Or holding real BTC on an exchange. Need to self custody to prevent rehypothecation. So the IRA looks as though it will be only to diversify into other assets.
Stop bending over to these people. Just because they have $$$$ doesnt mean they should be worshiped. Stop selling yourselves for convenience. The people need to rise up to this BS nonsense.
