ive lost everything 3 times because of BS like this… This is why I diversify my holdings into different wallets and exchanges.
This is not a drill! Please stop trusting hot wallets. Just calling them hot wallets should be enough to keep people from storing large amounts of coins on them. Stay safe!
Could these hardware wallets be set up with software that allows whoever produced them to access the crypto keys and then send it to a predetermined address when an internet connection is detected? Just wondering, It has always seemed to me that an insured, credible exchange, has less potential for things to go wrong. Hardware wallets can be lost or stolen, burned in a fire, and Maybe all these people pushing the "not your Keys, Not your Crypto" Narrative, might be profiting from the sale of the wallets.

Mobile apps arent secure wallets. You are better off keeping it at the exchange than on a mobile app

I am using trust wallet but transperancy and effort to help existing users are not seen . What kind of wallet got hacked (desktop, mobile , staking ), where did they downloaded the wallets from.. nothing proived for past 2 days which not helping any existing users
Atomic seed phrase should only be stored on the personal device, right? So how are they hacking them?
Haha don't use Hot wallets, yes use cold wallets like Ledger
It has long been my policy to split my assets between my nano ledger and coinbase. I figure the hardwallet protects me from external malicious attacks, and coinbase's user-friendliness protects me from my own mistakes. I'm terrified of sending something to the wrong address or something else stupid like that. After spending a couple months memorizing my recovery phrase for my nano ledger, I destroyed the physical copies. I don't use multisig because I'm afraid of adding another opportunity for user error (what if I lose one of the seed phrases?!). Does this seem safe to you guys?
How do I keep trust wallet safe? If I disconnect from wallet connect and clear my dapp browser is that enough?
