U.S. imposes sanctions on 2 individuals, cryptocurrency platform for aiding regime’s weapons development

Washington has decided to impose fresh sanctions on two individuals for aiding the development of North Korea’s weapons program.
The U.S. Treasury Department said in a press release Tuesday that the two are affiliated with Air Koryo,… the North’s national airline,… and were involved in the transportation of electronic parts from China to North Korea on behalf of the regime’s rocket industry.
It also added that Air Koryo is controlled by and integrated into the North’s military.
In addition,… Tornado Cash,… a cryptocurrency mixer service was also blacklisted for helping North Korean hackers raise money for the regime’s weapons development.
