Not at all surprised about the mandatory Bitcoin registry in Argentina that you mentioned. Javier Milei is being lauded as this savior anarcho-capitalist, but he is not. He is a crony capitalist. As Minister of Economy he appointed Luis Caputo, the former top guy in latin america for Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. Most of the people he appointed in finance and economy were already in government under Maurice Macri, the guy that was in office during the major financial crisis of 2018. These are not anti-establishment people. Milei has also had meetings with Bill Clinton and friendly meetings with the IMF. Argentinians hate the IMF because of all the crazy IMF deals spear-headed by Domingo Carvallo (if I remember correctly). Specifically, forcing Argentina to sell public assets to foreign private companies.
When Milei says he will hand stuff off to the private sector its not going to the argentine private sector, its going to foreign members of a global banking cartel that includes some of the biggest institutions on Wall Street that have a verifiable documented history of corruption, enslaving countries like Argentina to the debt-slavery model.
At the last Davos WEF meeting he was applauded for scolding the WEF. Except – he wasn't. The WEF is misunderstood by a lot of people, but that group is about advancing the public-private partnership model and there are two sides to that much like there is in the prevailing left-right paradigm of most countries politics. For a long time the WEF has leaned on the public side and used talking points that are meant to appeal to the political left (e.g. ESG), and have gotten a lot of puch-back as a result. Now they have moved their retoric away from those seeking appeal to the political left and the public side of the public-private partnership, leaning into the private aspects of the public-private partnership, and having more right-leaning talking-points. So it is no wonder Milei could make the speech he did, since he was just critisizing a narrative the WEF had already abandoned.
Milei is deregulating the government taking down the public sector but he is just handing it to the private sector.
One episode always comes back to me regarding price – 5K sats for a $ will seem very cheap…. It's still stupidly cheap at 1.5K sats. None of us are bullish enough, including me. Thanks Matt.

Can you explain why BTC seems to have a "hard" ceiling of 70k? Every time we even approach it we just get smacked down in varying degrees of severity.
