  1. André Edström says:

Yet another reason to just say no to Epic Games.

  2. ShyCake Breadbread says:

I heard SF also fixed there logo

  3. Cadrid says:

Woah, nelly! That western crypto crap looks like a cow pie sprinkled with Fool’s gold.
I’d rather get spurred in my Rocky Mountain oysters than willingly play that garbage.

  4. Jeremy Noyes says:

    Thank you jesse

  5. Rolandais says:

"Why would you play any game where you don't own what you buy?"

Good question, how exactly do I own anything in yours, if….it goes away in three months, when your game goes belly-up? Or any other game I've bought, ever that has an online component, that I only own, until the servers go down? We haven't owned games, for two decades, and we never will, if those games happen online. NFT's don't change that, they are just another way to scam people, to launder money, and to make the rich richer, and poor poorer, the new wave of MLM's

  6. simpleChoas says:

Man, first we're blessed with the Cren Minute, now a BOX?!?!?! Jessie, you spoil us

  7. Ume Coalpaw says:

You hear that? It's the death clock of epic games because of their new crypto bomb.

  8. Reighn says:

I hope that NFT game crashes so hard. It seems like the only thing they have that's unique is the NFT part. Aside from that it seems unoriginal and just looks terrible from that preview.

  9. DJTagz09 says:

Generally I try to never think this way, but if there was ever a game that I want to crash and burn in spectacular flames, it's any game that feature anything involving NFTs. Just fail already so the NFT bros get the picture that we don't want the crap their peddling.

  10. Joshua says:

The scandle, the drama, the sheer vulgarity! A 4 minute ‘5 Minute Gaming News’!?! I plan to watch every episode just to be sure that this injustice never occurs again and I will be asking all my peers to do the very same!

  11. Hi-Ougi Demon fang says:

That horses run cycle… wow that sucked so badly

  12. Tyranzor Katastrophe says:

    Good
Epic is a shithole of a company that's horrible for gaming.
Let's hope any goodwill they have goes as well as cryptos goodwill does

  13. BlazeDrag says:

I love how epic seemingly only allowed blockchain games on their platform because Steam disallowed them and they wanted to be contrary to try and stand out.

  14. Xarantaur the witness says:

I find it funny epic just does not give a shit about them promoting a game that's basically all stolen assets from their own store 🤣
also. protip. if you're gonna show off your game ….maybe don't show super unfinished work where several key animations are missing so shits just sliding around 🤔

  15. Jay T.B says:

It was announced right after Capcom Pro Tour Finals a month or two ago that we'd for sure be getting info on SF6 at EVO, hopefully the leaks didn't spoil any of that.

  16. SternritterNovad says:

So NFT bros are still trying to scam gamers even though it's been proven a failed attempt.

  17. Boosted Lúcio says:

LOL. Blizzard, then Epic. Not even remotely surprised.

  18. Tetra Sky says:

Crypto evangelists saying the blockchain can be used to have items in one game be in another game… Except it doesn't work that way and they clearly have no idea how games are made. Developers of each games would need to implement the items, create graphics for them because it's not as easy as just clicking "import". The game engines are not always the same, things are not compatible. Then if it's a game with an item based economy, if an item is easier to obtain in one game and players just use them in another, it could seriously mess up a lot of things. The balance would be all sort of messed up. Blockchain seriously brings nothing good to the table that couldn't already be done if devs wanted to.

  19. Violinoknight says:

I think we can still get the free games on Epic and make them keep losing money by not spending on anything on their store.

  20. halsti says:

"owning part of the game" is not even how it works. you dont own part of it, you own an NFT of part of it. And the NFT has a skin with a license attatched. you dont own copyright of it. you dont "own it". you only own the nft of it.

  21. Mirrinian says:

There's actually a lot of crypto games on Steam. The ban was entirely meaningless and only applies in a really specific way, and crypto games can get around the restrictions really easily. Mir4 is a good example

  22. Funnymunny says:

The game face feature in SF reminds me of the old days when you could something like that in Soul Caliber I'm glad to see it come back

  23. Joseph Teller says:

With NFTs you own nothing but an address in a database that you in no way control. Its all a SCAM. Epic is going to crash and burn on this if they are advertising it as 'owning' a piece in the game as that's false advertising.

  24. Ian S says:

    (video) 404 is found. 🙂

  25. Chortling Kraken says:

Strange coincidence that GRIT did playtests on Steam all last year, was delayed three or four times to say they were releasing this year back in January, only to end up an NFT game. This truly is what 'beating a dead horse' means

  26. mestre12 says:

And now, even more reasson to not use Epic.

  27. mulligin75 says:

No matter how many free games EPIC games' giving away, still not gonna sign up to them. EPIC's just like that shady dude offering free candy to kids. Better off getting free stuff from GOG really.

  28. badliferequiresvice says:

did we not used to own the full game when we bought it?… i guess CD's and software have finally settled their divorce.

  29. Chu Chu says:

I'm so glad the new game announcement from Kojima is new content and not a sequel. A lot of people were hyped for him and his team to independently produce what P.T. should have been. 🤩

  30. Ragetist says:

I use my epic account just to grab free games. At this point I'm half expecting them to intentionally give us reasons to leave the platform completely 😂
