John woods left Cardano because his position was temporary. He was filling in for someone while they were on paternity leave. The way he said it was misleading. Also ALGO is centralized making it irrelevant.

Talking g about helium, I think we will see alot of projects that set out to replace the big tech "monopolies" partner with them and abandon their founding principles.
ETH feels like it's done this, or maybe I'm just wiser now.
Macro trading right now is an even bigger risk than most pple can imagine. Been trading on one of the new perp Dexes, TakePile for a while but decided to halt as conditions kept getting worse. On the bright side, I've turned to Liquidity mining on their platform. Not the highest yield but certainly one to be happy for and I love that it's also very secure as they consistently make updates. Hopefully, things get better quickly and I can't go back to leverage trading.

Helium is a scam
I'm from the Netherlands. The EU is a disaster… They've been pushing ESG-laws that don't make sense in every country, making the taxes way too high for the middle class, destroying our culture with endless migration and they stopped getting oil out of the ground due environmental reasons (previously around 60% of the Dutch oil supply). Also we topped the pipeline from Russia ofcourse and at the same time we're rising excise duty to 45% to help the environment 😵💫. Our country is on the verge of bankruptcy and they're making sure the middle- and lower class are the only ones suffering.
At first, I jokingly mocked crypto as a "ponzi scheme", not until I got myself involved into it and had some huge wins and losses. Right now, I just play it save by staking my IRIS and PGEN, then accumulate enough tokens to get into Polygen's tier levels and participate to their future raises.
Regarding the Helium to Solana migration: Guy noted that Alogrand was "fighting" to sway Nova Labs to migrate to Algorand's blockchain. This is a misrepresentation. In the channels where the Helium transition proposal was made, several Algorand proponents showed up late to the conversation and attempted to torpedo the discourse but they did not generate a proposal, nor any code for the Helium community to look at or vote on. The only proposal that was generated was HIP70 by Nova labs which was passed 80% to 20%.
Since then, a poorly written and clearly biased Anti-Helium article in Forbes has come out which has quotes and references from these Algorand proponents.
It's a very bad showing indeed that such temper tantrums are being thrown.
