It's not the 75 point hike that will tank the markets, it's Jerome Powell's comments following it. In which he is going to once again spook the markets by how rapidly he announces increasing QT, and/or how hawkish they will say they're going to remain, even in spite of this current narrative that "the fed is doing too much" and "risking destroying the economy, plunging us into recession" by all the news outlets like CNBC. That will tank the markets… the fact that you said this is probably the last 75 point hike just goes to show how many people believe this. It's definitely not going to be the last one. They have to do at least three more 75 point hikes just to get to the original target of > 4% by Q1 2023

Yes but the core inflation stills going up, and we have not yet seen the effect on the profits of the companies, when they start to go negative then it will see the second part of the bearish process
