All these coins just failed their recent lows thus the plunge. Not sold on higher lows. Its just gox and Jackson hole
serious question. how in hell can one US dollar be worth $1.08? that dont make sense that a dollar is worth more than its face value, what are they valuing against?

I've be selling with the market, if they agree it's still over priced it just feels safer to dump with them. Waiting for $19,200 bitcoin, but will dump it if the market still thinks it's over priced.

I am saving my powder for the CPI on the 13th. The biggest kick to pump bitcoin would be if the cpi is a lower read than forecasted for. The forecastered cpi has not been released yet. Once that forecast is released by the CPI data companies, the dollar starts to slowly drift in the direction of the forecasts. And then tends to settle down a few days prior to the actual release. If the actual release differs from the expected by more than a few points a spike on the dollar(and hence bitcoin) will occur. You can trade this 2 ways. Do a pile of research to get a handle on what the read will be and take a position in advance of the CPI announcement 12/13th September. Or place opposing pending orders on both sides of the price 1 minute before the announcement. If one gets triggered you are in the money. If it whip saws you just lose the spread plus slippage.
Hopefully the ETH merge will spark a bull market, much more so than the silly $hitcoin halving. Charts won’t matter when it does happen because gas fees and mining is included in the equation for now. A lot of $hitcoin has to sell for the price to stay high (for you price action chasers). When that goes away with eth, maybe eth will break away from btc and carry the market with it.
China still has to go through their housing market pain. And the rest of us will suffer for it too. Or just have to put up with the bs until these global leaders start learning how to run things.
