The Iron Fish team opted for Proof of Work due to its enhanced security and decentralization. Unfortunately, being a US-based company, Iron Fish cannot publicly disclose its roadmap due to regulatory constraints.
Curious about the legitimacy of Iron Fish? I delved into the records and discovered that Iron Fish is indeed a registered US company, formerly known as Beanstalk Network Inc. It was founded in 2018 by Elena Nadolinski and an anonymous individual. The company’s name change to Iron Fish adds an intriguing touch to its identity.
Speaking of Beanstalk Network Inc., they previously created the Beanstalk cryptocurrency, a permissionless fiat stablecoin protocol on Ethereum. While the connection may raise eyebrows, it’s worth noting that over $32 million USD has been raised for the project, according to CB Insights.
Now, the ultimate question remains: Is Iron Fish worth your attention? As an honest reviewer, I must admit that time will be the ultimate judge. While Iron Fish appears to be a legitimate project, it’s essential to exercise caution and thorough research before investing or mining. The fact that some YouTube content creators are promoting Iron Fish while omitting Beanstalk raises some skepticism.
As for me personally, I’m inclined to pass on mining or investing in Iron Fish. It doesn’t bring significant novelty to the table and utilizes the same Blake3 algorithm as Alepheium, which holds more appeal to me.
